As the world have been more and more innovative, so should us. VEX Robotics allows everyone to create new
robots, to have fun making those robots, and most importantly, design us to be the new leaders for
tomorrow.
VEX Robotics is deeply related to the STEM Education Program. It stands for
Science, Technology, Engineering, and
Mathematics.
VEX Robotics Competition is a challenge that requires to design, test, and build a efficient robot only out of VEX parts to complete different tasks. STEM, Teamwork, and Leadership skills are applied in the process of preparing and competing in the competition.
Other than the VEX Robotics Competition, the team also competes in the FIRST Lego League and the World
Robot Olympiad. Members in our team have won multiple awards in different teams of those fields, and also
travel worldwide for international tournaments after winning the Taiwan qualifier!
Different from VRC, FLL (FIRST Lego League)'s competition also involved proposing a
creative solution for solving problems in different occasiations, from space problem to a water-saving
problem.
WRO (World Robot Olympiads) requires you to make a robot that can score the most point
out of a set field with missions for the robot to solve. This is also the same for the FLL's robot
section. The robots for WRO and FLL are all autonomous the whole period of time, so the programming and
the precision of the values are really important.
